The Kangal is a giant mastiff capable of fending off wolves and bears. This large shepherd originates from Turkestan. Depending on upbringing and environment, this breed can be a family’s best friend or worst nightmare. Protective yet typically gentle when calm, Kangals are said to have a bite force up to 743 psi and will defend themselves if they sense danger.
