The following morning, after landing several smaller catfish, Mark noticed something strange. A dark, slow shadow glided five feet away beneath the surface. Instantly, he sensed something extraordinary closing in.
It was the biggest fish he had ever seen.
With more than 25 years of experience, Mark had seen plenty, but nothing like this. Word spread fast, drawing curious onlookers and lifeguards. Tension rose as a lifeguard shouted a warning, urging caution.
