Don't Use These Expired Items

1. Hairbrushes

Ends in: A year $5* is the average price. Most people use a hairbrush once a day or more, but did you know that we also ought to clean it at that same frequency? Brushes should be replaced annually, in addition to being sterilized every 24 hours. When we brush our hair, we remove all the build-up—which includes dust, debris, and dead skin—that gets caught in the strands.

2. Alcohol

Ends in: A year $20 is the average price. Many individuals appreciate the pleasure of having a fully stocked bar at home, but if you're an enthusiastic alcohol collector, take caution. Spirits that have not been opened have an almost infinite shelf life, but once the bottle is opened, its timer starts to run.

Beer and other forms of alcohol have far more precise use-by dates. Positively, if you wanted a reason to throw a party to finish off all that alcohol, this is a wonderful one.
